A merry and bright Xmas!

Well, it seems like an appropriate moment to wish all our viewers and clients and, hopefully, new visitors a very happy Xmas and New Year. We look forward to seeing some of you in Kisla/Kalkan in 2016.

Now unlike Dean Martin I wouldn’t say the weather outside is frightful but no doubt like you, we’ve been experiencing some pretty miserable weather these last 2-3 days. So it was reassuring to hear from Karyn, our super local agent, that the weather in Kalkan on Xmas day was a balmy 23°C in the sunshine! Here’s a shot looking out over her roof terrace pool area…

Xmas sunshine

and a later shot taken with friends having a late afternoon sundowner, after a stroll down to the harbour…

Cheers!

We love Xmas and all it means in terms of special times with the family etc but after Karyn’s message we were thinking seriously about popping over for a short winter break to Villa Kingfisher with our best friends. You can see how lovely it is.

I’ve been saying for ages that some of the best times to visit to Turkey are in the low season period when the weather is still mild and bright and the town is quiet and peaceful. And, of course, prices are absolutely at their best as you’ll see from our charges section. So if you fancy a lovely tranquil break with some good friends, say, to explore the Turquoise coast’s great features without the madding crowds then get in touch via the contact details page. We’d love to hear from you.

ps stop press…Karyn’s just e-mailed to confirm that the temp today (27th Dec) is nudging 30ºC in the sun. That’s far from frightful!
